So We Sing

Pearl frog cascades, silver tip pulling

notes of Bach; taut against trembling strings,

Laughs echo tears, emotions shuffling:

A hypocrisy of symphony.

Allegro speeds, quick: Solipsistic,

it forgets. But music still exists

within pages, tattered and mystic.

It shudders lies of remiss amiss.

Allegra engraved, fine mark of fame,

but little without the hands to tease

it. Fingers, tiny, trembling: Untamed.

Contradiction never did displease.

Gentle. Subtle. Quiet melody;

So we sing: sweet viola with me.

Author's Notes:
This is for my friend Tamar, who plays the viola beautifully :)

Your friend may play the Viola beautifully, but I can kill a rat with an Oboe. Sorry, I just had to brag! Good write Ms Meg!
I love the music picture you painted.

I bet that you sing as beautifully as you write, too don't you? I have known for a long time that you write beautifully, but I didn't know for sure that you sing I only suspected that you do.
