A road to healing

She has taken the boldest step
An attempt to heal her soul
The road she hopes will cure ills
For home has taken out a toll

Now on a road of friendship
A hope to cure a wounded heart
She will bond with a trusted friend
A new life she intends to start

Facing the unknown with courage
She will test her mettle and will
When the dust of this battle settles
It will be her on top of the hill

On this road may she find some peace
With the knowledge she is not alone
Friends stand ready to help her heal
She is all heart right down to the bone

I think I know of who you speak and you are right, she has made of the purest of golds. May she find happiness on that road. Very beautiful dedication.
