The Crystal City

The forest floor glistened here and there with dappled light,
where magical event and happenings would take place in their sight.

For, three children played in amongst the protection of the living trees,
where a kind old wizard looked on, unseen by the three of these.

They were playing hide and seek, when a leprechaun appeared
to them with a big smile on his face,
"Hello children, what are you playing in this enchanted place?"

The children, unafraid, told him of their games of fun,
and how their first visit to the forest had begun.

"The forest has been watching you, and enjoy
you being here to play,
and now you will meet the wizard and fairy queen,
who have said that you can stay.

For they will show you the 'Crystal City' that is
here amongst the trees,
where you will see many wondrous things,
such as talking butterflies and singing bees."
