What Price?

What would the cost be, kind sir,
for just one kiss from thee?
What would a maiden have to pay,
to feel thy lips on thee?
Perhaps a washing of thy feet,
a scrubbing of  thy floor?
Twould be gladly paid once,
and then, forever more.
To gently know the curve of smile,
each fold and line you wear,
and what additional cost,
to run these fingers through thy hair?
What would be the cost, kind sir,
what would a maiden pay?
To linger in thy shadow,
for even a single day?

Let warm gentle winds blow through your hair
Your cost would be simply just being there
I will not accept cash, nor American express
For the honor of loving you is priceless

Great work on this one Barbie, I hope you don't mind my response. Henry

LOL. A sweet piece that simply says, I want you. I say go for the gold, to heck with the foot wash, and STEAL that kiss. LOL. Wonderful piece Barbie. Your heart is kind, and generous. ~Pam

Hmmmmm.....let's see........I don't think I'd charge too much...Oh, heck, you said "Kind Sir" so I guess that leaves me out...dang! Jody, we're not included in this one...sheesh!
Lovely write, Barbie, and I think any man would be nuts to require more than the return of the kiss you are asking for...then let things go from there (grin)
So pucker up, Baby...You're gonna get your wish one of these days...Until then, you're really gonna look silly walking around all puckered up (giggle)
Love ya, sis, and miss the heck out of ya!
