Cuddles.

Cuddles is grey, furry (not fat)
From the name you'll have guessed it
Its Cuddles the cat

He'll lay on the floor, as still as a log
Then quick as a flash, he'll bite hell out the dog
The dog does'nt care, cause he thinks he's the boss
And the cat does'nt care cause he's petted the most

But the cats had his share of the blood pain and gore
Theres the time that his tail got stuck in the door
Then two in the morning, and screeching for breath
He was caught in the window and choking to death

And when we had mice, which I tried to trap
But Cuddles got shot of them quicker then that
Though the trip to the vets, was the most painful of all
His lives were intact, though he lost more then one ball

The vet made a phone call "Please come get your cat"
His excuse was "He's violent and I'm not touching that"
So off to the vets to show him some love
(I'm not that brave either, I had bloody great gloves)

Once out of the vets , he calmed quicker then that
I told him its done now, so stop acting the prat
He's getting quite old now, so he'll sit on your lap
He'll purr like a chainsaw, and drip like a tap
Plus he's always forgiven, cept when he craps on the mat
But what do you expect, from a neutered grey cat.

I loved this! Our cranky old grey cat does the crap on the mat thingy too...! or BESIDE the litter box...or in the bath tub...Blasted ornery critter...Grrr~ but I'd be lost without him hanging around.
This was just too cute!
Hugs!

LMAO omg this is too funny! Not only do I have 3 cats, one of them is called Cuddles too. He is an old maine coon cat that only looks for you when he is hungry. He is as gentle as a kitten, thus his name. Sounds like your Cuddles is calming down in old age.

Graham, this made me laugh when I read it. I have had cats most of my adult life and I think some of your Cuddles was in all of them.

Wonderful and delightful read!
