~A Very Proud Momma~

My daughter and my youngest son
never got to grow up together
She was taken from me by her father
when she was just a little girl of 3
They never had a close relationship
because of that fact
Now she is a woman
she is almost 21
She made me the proudest Mom today
and all she did was call to ask
What time her brother would be home
she wanted to take him shopping and out for a day of fun
She wanted to get to know him
like she had never really done
She filled my eyes with tears of joy
tears of sadness too
For if she had not been taken
this is something she wouldn't have to do
I quess this is a sign that she is growing up
and for a mother this is always hard to face
I am proud of all my children
but I have to say my daughter made me the proudest Mom today

	This brought tears to my eyes. As a Mother I can relate to what heartache you must have felt and also the happiness that your beautiful daughter has brought to her loving Mother. This is precious. God bless you and your lovely daughter and your son too. The chapters throughout our life never end, memories are forever made. All we can do as Mothers is pray for whatever comes our way and know that God will never put something on us that we cannot handle. He is with us every step of the way.
