A Walk In Your Garden

A walk in your garden reminds me,
How you touch all my senses.
I feel alive and reborn.
Never do I wish to leave.

I tingle anytime you're near.
My butterflies play in your flowers,
Toes dance in your grass.
Excitement such as I've never known grows.

You are a feast for my longing eyes.
Hair kissed by old Sol as I remember,
Fireflies sparkle in your eyes.
Flowers bow whenever you smile.

You speak and rest my soul's waves.
Filtering through flowered trees,
Like the most dulcet breeze, your voice,
Soothing, 'til your reflection I become.

You appeal to my mind, my reason.
The order in your life so abundant.
Roots sturdy, loving branches,
Each and every leaf and flower so dear.

You are so graceful and delicate.
The way you move and bend with the wind.
Always rising into the spring sun,
Mischevious, looking to share some fun.

You rival all the many blossoms,
With sweet fragrance unique to you.
Each breath brings living memory inside,
And makes me feel so alive.

Yes, you are a feast for my eyes,
One of a kind, a beautiful princess.
To remark of your beauty, insufficient,
There is no comparison to you.

Humbly, you smile and disagree,
And tell me I just can't see.
But my dear, I've walked your garden enough,
To see beyond your beautiful image.

How you carefully tend your garden,
Assisting growth in important ways.
How you love and just what you stand for,
Truly are the most impressive things of all.

You appeal to me on so many levels,
Through my senses and in inexpressible ways.
A walk in your garden reminds me,
How important you are to so many more than me.

This is full of adoration for her fine virtues. Your creative expressions hold truth to the light Rich, I think some people do bring new life where it is needed...without even realizing they are doing so. This poem was sang praise where praise was due. Dear is the heart that can recognize this kind of love and just what a person stands for. This poem offers more than appealing offers the readers a peek inside your gracious heart.

Wonderfully done Rich! BRAVO!

Well! Would you just look at that! "My butterflies play in your flowers?" Yikes! "Fireflies sparkle in your eyes?" Holy Cow! Rich, this is exquisite. And to think I was worried about you. I suggest you spend more wee small hours writing. Your song of love simply takes my breath away. Well done, my good man. Auntie
