I don't know you...

I don't know you, but I wish you were here.
Sitting next to me, understanding my fears
You reminding me, anything I can do
Even sometimes when I'm feeling so blue.

I don't know you, but sometimes I feel I do.
A meeting of souls and minds true.
In a previous life we wrote together
Lines and phrases, Poetic justice lasting forever.

I don't know you, but I wish I can.
Observing your intriguing mind, trying to understand
Hoping you want to know me as a whole,
Seeing deeper, talking to my soul.

I don't know you, will I ever do?
Paths don't cross, like we want them to
Sometimes mind don't meet, that are true.
My life will be less fulfilled if I don't know you.

I want to know you...

Wishing and wanting seem to carry the emotions in your write.  You convey this on a very human level that only a few can do.

we all long for that someone that can feel what we are feeling and we can do the same.  if this was to anyone person i hope that you do indeed meet and that it is all you could hope for and more

Beautiful job, Adri...and I can very much relate to the sentiment in these lines. There are many that I'd love to know, but know that I never will...and there is one in particular that I'd give anything and everything to know better...and in time, I pray, that will happen.

Hugs and again, great job!

Sad and wistful write, Adri.. If you don't mind a little suggestion..You might go easier on the true-blue-you rhymes..Good emotion in this though...len
