Lost Dark Knight

The screaming of a thousands pains

Snakes up him along his still warm veins

Transforming his flesh to darkened steel

On his knee’s he’s forced to kneel

Crimson darkness fills his eyes

A metal mouth guard silences his cries

And a sword of anger, hate and pain

Calls to him from across the plane

His armoured hand lifts it without a sound

Then slices the air and splits the ground

The dark knight now stands on his feet

His transformation is nearly complete

Memories of his life now start to fade

Pulling the curtain on an obvious charade

Washed clean in the thunder and the rain

He no longer can remember his name

From all emotion he begins to part

Feels the slowing of his heart

A dark knight in armour his body dead

Though like a puppet he still is led

His lonely quest will never cease

Cursed forever to find no peace

Silently screaming into the night

A lost dark knight continues on his plight

Loved it.

For some reason it reminded me of  Batman The Dark Knight.

Must be because of the title.

Great job, dark Knight

Another stunner, how there is a little of both in each of us and even the best can become the dark knight.
