I Won't Change.

Imaginary moments drift by on a euphoric line,

and the luxury of lies

fail in the night life,

and it seems like nobody knows me.

I'm tired and lost,

an heretic in the eyes of the orthodox.

The monotony of existence

can go so slowly,

but i stay

to scare the scars away

and sleep

to avoid another day.

I can be curious and serious.

I can be happy or sad.

I can be devious or hilarious

but i don't seem to be what was expected of me,

that's too bad...

That's just too bad.

I'm here at least, getting somewhere.

Demanding too much emotion,

i can't use devotion,

tied down to one place until my dying day.

I don't care what people think,

and i don't care what people say...

I won't change.

Imaginary memories drift through a euphoric mind

and the luxury of lies

fail in a failures life,

and it feels like nobody owns me...

I'm angry and lost,

infected on the wave of a paradox.

The monotony of resistance

can go so slowly,

but i stay

to scare the stars away

and sleep

to avoid another day,

but to be a certain way or act so nice

isn't my idea of paradise.

Looking at the world with shocked betrayal

isn't my idea of fun...

To me it all feels tiresome...

But i won't change...

I won't change..

I'm getting somewhere...

Demanding too much attention

i always want to be mentioned,

whether it's in a room,

in a bar,

somewhere bizarre.

No longer detect.

No longer speculate.

No longer be anxious.

No longer imagine

because it's all so strange.

What a celestial piece that keeps the reader inspired long after the reading is finished.
