Write on!
While away the hours with words across a page
Write of your feelings, don't forget to rage
Opine to the masses and leave them with no doubt
Make it crystal clear, the message you are putting out
Have them hanging on every word, wanting even more
Use the gift you've been given, that's what writing is for
Help them appreciate a flower or what grows on a tree
Open their minds to visualize what they cannot see
Make them feel the rush of the ocean, sand between their toes
Let your words guide the senses as they sniff them with their nose
Yes, you and I , we have the power, for us it's no difficult chore
Use that gift you've been given, that's what writing is for
Author's Notes:

Awesome reminder of just who we are as writers...We have to get it out on paper or screen...It's a driving force, I've discovered. When I CAN'T write, for one reason or another, it builds up and builds up until I think I could explode before I can get it out.

Fantastic ode to your fellow writers here...

Hugs and smiles...SV

We have the gift that few have, some of us do not really realize that. This is awesome Henry. Now, if only you had this for Tuesday nights at the lanes! LOL! Joe
