Apologies For The Messed Up Mind

I'm guessing you're expecting this to be full of hate,
But for once this is me finally trying to set things straight.
I haven't spoken to you in a real painful eleven years.
Always ignoring your phonecalls that would've ended in tears.
There were so many messed up chances in the past,
But I chose to ignore them and make the hate last.
So I guess this is just me trying to say that i'm sorry.
It's too late for my apology, you've probably let go of me.
Of all the things i've done, I regret this one the most:
Leaving you behind and letting you fade into a ghost.

I'm really sorry for what happened between us,
And I hope you can forgive everything I ever said.

Dear Daughter,
Sometimes apologies are spoken too late,
What's said is said and that's usually fate.
But somethings are better late than never,
I've been waiting for you to send that letter.
It just shows how mature you've grown to be
and how proud that you truly make me.
I'll be honest, I gave up all hope with you,
Half expecting the hate to follow through.
It must have taken you alot to write what you did,
Especially considering you're still just a kid.
But i've given you eleven years of chances,
Everyone you've turned down with sneering glances.
You laughed away all the love I held in my heart,
Do you really think there's hope for a new start?
You chose to write the last chapter of our book,
Burning all the pictures that we ever took.

So I guess this is officially our last goodbye,
All those torn up letters prove love can die.

Agreed.  I, too, have regrets like these.  Wonderful write.  It begs the question:  "Just when is it really too late?"

going by your age and the fact that 11 years were in your childhood I would not ever give up hope. Make your life have meaning and she will be so proud of you. You have a very mature style of writing. well done YOU Ali x

Dear Hannah-
Life plays a game and the endings not the same

So we forget how we've become who we've became

But each piece
of is like a piece of dust

We travel past life floating like a piece of dust-
My Friend---These words were hard for me to type-
I wish I could turn back pages I've created-
But I can't-I have painted my life in the portrait I've created

I know you have given me so much respect-
So I respect very much what you've written here_
It explains so much of why you became one of my favorite writers here!!!
Your writnig comes straight out of you heart!!!
A Fan Of Yours!
Best Wishes to You Both~
Peace~

James

...Well,,,I would disagree~between a mother and daughter, there should never be a "too late".

Seems the daughter here has grown above the parent.

Very heartfelt writing~very sad.

Best wishes,
Pamela
