English lesson poem

I am a captive of my own possibilities
With dreams of world domination
I wonder when I will start to believe in my own potential
I hear the whisper of God as she sends me on my journey
I see the future unfold before my eyes
I wonder when the girl of my dreams will greet me
I am a captive of my own possibilities
With dreams of world domination

I pretend to be stronger than I am
I feel that my heart is breaking
I touch the world of dreams
I worry I'll always be alone
I cry because I really think I love her
I am a captive of my own possibilities
With dreams of world domination

I understand that life is hard
I say that from here it just gets worse
I dream that I can hide in places where you cant find me
I try to be who Iím supposed to be
I hope that I'll succeed
I am a captive of my own possibilities
With dreams of world domination

Author's Notes:
It was an assignment in an english lesson( thus the title :P)
I cant realy rember much about it caus i have a lousy memory, but th first two words of every sentence was chosen by the teacher, so we we didnt have complete control over what we wanted to write... Personally i think it turned out allright....

I really like this Mads, so much so I'm going to stick it in my faves. The only thing about it that I'm not so sure of, is the title. I understand why you called it this (You put the reason in your "about") but something this good needs a "real" title! Why not call it, "What Am I"

Either way I still love the poem...great stuff fella.
