Paper Of Pain ((Co -Write with Michael
Paper of Pain
Though the years have passed, the lashes still burn -
burn as
if it were yesterday when your words
shattered my
loving heart.

Pain screams through my brain then trickles through

my sad eyes; I know this river of tears will forever flow.

How can I go on and live without you, yet know

you to be so cruel?
Yea, my heart has suffered and
from your unkindness.
When will it end?

Can I someday find the strength to live a new life

alone? Will I always hope and pray it is you when

the telephone rings?

My days and nights are consumed with sadness.
must I forever be a slave to my love for you
I know you can not love, but can only hurt?

Why, why, why?
