Infatuations (Acrostic)
Infectious though I know you are
Now I watch you from afar
Far enough that you can't see
All that you now mean to me
Things of which I fantasize
Under which I can disguise
All my thoughts and love for you
Things I wish that would come true
Instead they leave me feeling cold
Outside alone and less then bold
Never to savour your sweet charms
Since you belong in anothers arms.

Wow, Graham, what a fantastic acrostic! Infatuations can hurt as much as any love...You've penned a beauty here. I think many of us can relate to the frustrations and heartache in this write.

Hugs to you...and a big smile, too!

I'd say this summed it up very well Graham. Oh the longing of it all, never to be a reality...yeaaa, you pinned it up on the wall with this.. Barbie
