A letter from the abyss

From the deepest depths of the deepest sea

I sent this bottle as a last desperate attempt for you to see

That I sending you this because I believe you were sent for me

And now Iím dying here wondering you were really meant for me

Eventually I will be overcome by the sea and drown with my beliefs

With nothing left but bones to show the inevitability of all mensí destiny

Before we sprung instability I believed you were the sole being that could rescue me

And in my state; my soul being as fleeting as a heartís last beating its easy to see

That Iíve already drowned myself alive mentally, over thinking what might not have had to be

You were born ashore to follow a worn path adorned with a life that ends happily

I am less assure:  my path was laid with scorn and wrath and it will end ever so tragically

I wish now that I could be with you as I was then, when our hearts fit magically

But now my heart sinks faster than the rest of me; youíre the treasure to which I have no key

My remains will probably never wash to shore so you can be secure that you donít have to see

What was left of me; a love lost whose last wave was that cast by the sea

And I will take with me nothing of yours, not your words, tears, or philosophies

A hypocrisy when you look at what you took from me, a heart willing to love and a soul willing to please

Excellent work. Sorrowful and tender and put together so well.
