"VEE"

My daughter lives in a far off place

All I can see now is a picture of her face

I want her to know

That I love her so

She has stolen my heart

It hurts to be so far apart

I want to share in her happiness or when she's sad

And if anyone messes with her be prepared to mess with Dad

I will always be here for you VEE

I hope this you can really see

Now matter how old you are

You will be your dad's bright and shinning star

	A touching tribute from father to daughter. No matter how old they are, or how far away they wander, they are always part of us. This was beautiful to read, it is not very often that we get a dad's point of view! Respond To This Comment
