The Sand Is Slowly Slipping
This is a letter to my dearest.
The ones that I love most.
I'll sing it in a lovely tune.
For this is for the blindest.

Can you hear me singing?
Please, listen closely.
I can sing a little louder,
For my words are freely flowing.

Father, father.
I wish I could make you see.
I've done all that I could do.
Now, it's upto you.

Please, hear me out.
Bring down those walls of yours.
I want you to see once more.
Put an end to this war.

This is a song to my dearest.
The ones that love me most.
I'll write it with some lovely words.
For this is for the deafest.

So watch my lips moving.
And read between the lines.
I need you to understand,
The sand is slowly slipping.

Mother, mother.
I wish you would listen.
I've done all that I could do.
Now, it's upto you.

Please, read closely.
Endless translations mean one thing.
My words are screaming.
But are you listening?

I'm sorry that I ever let you,
Let you make me feel this way.
I'm sorry I'm not good enough,
But I'm starting from anew.

I'm sorry that it's too late,
Too late for you to live.
But I'm not sorry I will go on.
How much longer will you wait?
