~My Daughter's Bombs~
My daughter likes to drop the bomb
on her loving dear old Mom
A month ago she came and said
That her and Joe had went off and wed

Now just today
she called to say
She had another bomb to drop
that Joe would soon be a Pop

She likes to drop these bombs while I'm at work
where she knows I can't go berserk
I am happy for the parents to be
and I can't wait to become a Granny

Can't wait to see my daughter glow
as her tummy begins to grow
She wants me to be there in delivery
so I can baby her when she becomes fussy

She is due on her birthday
which is 8 months away
What a way to celebrate
by instantly losing a lot of weight

Author's Notes:
I didn't get to raise my daughter.
She was taken from me by her Dad.
For her to want me to be a part, makes me very happy.

That is great, Tracy...A mother nad daughter should not be seperated. I'm glad she chose not to be...Len

Lovely and fun write. Being a grandmother is the greatest gift from God that us Mom's could ever have. My grandson is now 2 and a half and he makes my life so fulfilled, so complete. Congrats dear and may God bless the little one.

Congratulations for your daughter, but mostly to you for repairing the rupture in your relationship and becoming a very grand mother.
