New Horizons.
Sunsets red with golden hue's
Hard rock music mixed with blues
Sandy beaches azure skies
Made new friends with fond goodbyes
Had a laugh and shed some tears
My past now gone along with fears
Exotic foods and fine red wine
I feel I'm now in tune with time
A love for life at last re-newed
That which was lost can be re-viewed
In time and space was meant to be
My life mapped out for all to see
A childhood lost, I bear the scars
Yet distant now as sun or stars
Loved ones lost in adult life
Has caused me heartache, pain and strife
A wife a child and in despair
My life at last is in repair
From out the darkness, now the light
No longer blighted by my plight
Old friends and new have made me see
A whole new world in front of me
My past I know I cannot change
But what is gone can re-arrange
Held in my heart and memory
In pictures that I still can see
One cannot live in what is gone
For I'm still here and life goes on
The roads been hard and paved with pain
Long suffered guilt and even shame
I've made my peace, no longer roam
My time is now, I'm coming home.

I shed tears reading this  for you have been through so much. Now you have found love of a different kind in your heart and allowed this love to flow through your veins.

Sir Graham
Ahhhhh ...how you have touched our lives with your pain and loves.. Sometime we just have to get away from every thing and every one to sort out and heal our battered mind and heart... A trip to another world ..away  to think and understand what we need to do to start over with a new life.. this poem really moves the heart with your needs.
.I wish you my dearest friend all the love and happiness your tender heart will hold.
God knows its about time... Reach out of the darkness for happiness waits in your heart.. Your love for life is inside your mind and heart.... Go home to your loved ones and be happy..
 Love and hugs ~ Scarlett

Oh, Graham! I'm so glad to see this! What this tells me is that you've finally got your head on straight and your heart is clear...New Horizons, Indeed, my friend...and I thank goodness that you've taken this journey with your friend to re-find yourself!

What an amazing trip it's been and I'm happy to have been along for parts of the ride with you! Wonderful work here...and wonderful feelings of satisfaction that you've poured into this...

Hugs! Glata
