Losing

The stomach feels empty
The arms and legs go weak
The tears stream down the cheeks
The smile is forever lost
And memories seem forgotten
The heart beats faster
And the eyes struggle to stay open
The mind is astray
It is true what they say,

The pain of losing a loved one
Will never go away

A small stanza can create a big impact in the millions of people who've experienced that feeling.

Congrats on the award

You have captured those feelings in very few words. Some times that is all that is needed. Congratulations on the award.

Short and sombre but has impact, I think losing is more then adequate as a title .
