WHY STAY ALONG FOR THE RIDE?
Hearing your tone of voice,
I can hear the tone of misery,
Looking into your eyes,
the pain is so easy to see.

There is a weight upon your shoulders,
and a hurting in your heart,
If being together is so painful,
then shouldn't you be apart?

If he makes you so sad,
why are you by his side,
If he's not the one for you,
why go along for the ride?

BAM! Straight shooting Joe, you boil down a ga-zillion hours of detail and pointless conversation into three little verses and one question...why? Yah, that IS the question. Kudos!
