"Russian Roulette" - A Pantoum
"Spin the world around until it becomes another chance for you to live."
Close your eyes and make a wish that you land in better circumstance.
Hoping that the fates have the good will to forgive
Most are lucky to have been given even one glance.

Close your eyes and make a wish that you land in better circumstance.
For life to take a shape better than before
Most are lucky to have been given even one glance.
Will you be like a kid in a candy store?

For life to take a shape better than before,
You will have to see what first went wrong.
Will you be like a kid in a candy store,
Demanding what you want with a will so strong?

You will have to see what first went wrong.
You will never get any where
Demanding what you want with a will so strong
I say this now so that you can prepare

You will never get any where
Hoping that the fates have the good will to forgive
I say this now so that you can prepare
"Spin the world around until it becomes another chance for you to live."
Author's Notes:
The line in quotations is from a poem called "Creature from the bottom of the Eternal" and I have been given permission by the author AJ Strong to use it. Thanks AJ!

(Dropping jaw)  I know this person don't I?  At least, from they way I'm reading it... it seems I know this person VERY well...  I bet AJ does too.  You have a talent for finding the truth in a man's soul.  Were you aware that my favorite poem structure is pantoum?  This is a personal fave for sure.  It's so dang applicable!

It is one of the gorgeous mystical poems of contemporary age. The philosophical imagination and in-depth sray of conceptual ideas make it a poem really remarkable and invite us to contempolate and brood for some moments....Congratulations!

Dear Angelique-
As already stated below, this has many reflections for the reader to ponder over-
The circles core is closer than most realize-
There are so many things happening around us that the
population ignores because it is not optically viewed-
It goes back to what most have lost over the years-
Belief in who we are as a whole can not be seen or proven-
Once again, I thought this was a great piece of writing-
Best Wishes to You and Yours My Friend~
Peace~
James

Interesting concepts here and well done indeed with the pantoum.  A wonderful form for philosophical poetry.  Keep the ink flowing. ~Pam

Great job in the execution of this difficult style of verse. It would be so easy for the repeated lines to be nothing more than redundant, but you made each of them meaningful in their own right which indeed added a good deal of depth to the readers' experience. Very nice Angel.  RM.
