A Rose In All Its Beauty.
Should a rose no longer grace this land
No more to see her petals held in
soft and slender hands
Would thoughts of love deminish
In the absence of this bloom
Would sweethearts cease undying love
Without her beauty in the room
Would the world become a sadder place
Without this symbol of true love
Thank the Lord for in his wisdom
This gift from up above.

Wow...what appreciation you have for her. Truly, someone who is a symbol of true love would be missed by others of like hearts...who appreciate the gift of her presence. This poem demonstrates thoughtfulness and caring... it is as soft and gentle as the rain that makes the roses grow.

Roses are beautiful, and express the feelings of love so perfectly...

Great work here, Graham!

My favorite color is the peach ones with pink edges around the petals....
