I have never seen a fake snow party. However, it does sound like something you could enjoy. I am not much for the cold weather nor the snow. Snow is fun, and snow is pretty however, I much whether enjoy a warm fire with roasted marshmallows and hot chocolate.
I like the feeling you describe however, with the children sliding on the sled from the hilltop and picture being made I bet it was an impressive site to see. You did a wonderful job in providing the description of how you came from Ohio to see fake snow. I enjoyed reading it on this cold December day.
