Like the leaves

In an Autumn breeze

Which dance and play and

Gather in the corners

Of our windswept minds.

Like the snow of Winter

That lays in silence

On a sleeping land.

Two lovers dancing

In the April rain

Loving each other

Again and again.

I have bathed in your sunshine

I have been soaking wet

and the memories I have

I will never forget.

Dear John-
Life fills our mental scrapbooks to full capasity
Balanced between all things that has to be

These pages that write out my destiny

Death leaves no more than a memory-

I like poetry that can engage my mind well enough
to make me think-
The description in thi was great-
Best Wishes~

Brilliant metaphors and exquisite word use.

Reading this again and again invokes a somber emotion to sublime for words. But perhaps a poem could be written about this poem. People are suckers for contradiction.

I love this write
