Moonlit Kisses
Moonlit Kisses
Sharing kisses in the moonlight,
A gleam from the oil-paint was bright.
With crimson cheeks, lifted her head
In acceptance.  "Love it," he said.
It was a beautiful delight
Sharing kisses in the moonlight.
The couple stood close together,
Alone in a field of heather.
Although reserved in demeanor,
Elation for her was keener.
Sharing kisses in the moonlight
With her handsome and dashing knight.
Without a shadow of straining,
He hung up the finished painting.
In the serenity of night,
Sharing kisses in the moonlight.
Author's Notes:
My son, Joey, gave me a word bank because I wanted to see if I could do one.  He gave me some great words to work with.
The words are in bold:  kisses, moonlight, gleam, crimson, acceptance, beautiful, delight, reserved, elation, shadow, finished and serenity.
Thank you, Joey
