There once was a girl from McNeary
Whose beauty was just ordinary,
But as with distortion
Way out of proportion,
Her print work was extraordinary.
Author's Notes:
I've wanted to try a limerick and this seemed to fit with the topic of the week.  The rhyme scheme of: a-a-b-b-a with a syllable structure of : 9-9-6-6-9.
With so many of the magazine covers being air-brushed and photoshopped, it's hard to tell what is real and what isn't.

I like the rythm of this. Well done.

I happen to be a limeric expert. Most people don't get the tempo of the Irish contribution to poetry..This is perfect..len

Beauty is in the eyes of the beer holder...I've always said!

This is very good!

This is a clever limerick. Couldn't agree with you more.

Yes beauty is in the eye of the beholder in all aspects.  Well done...
