Midnight Angel -- Co-write with Glata

As sleep came to claim me for a peaceful night's rest
My thoughts tried to retreat from the land of the awake
However with eyes closing slowly, I see a vision to attest
A figure of a woman, I ponder it must be a mistake

At one moment I'm standing in the land of  dream's  rest
And the next I'm standing in quite another place
Gazing ahead through moon's soft glow at its best
I see the silhouette of a man's rather surprised face

It was a shock to see such a beautiful sight heavenly
I wondered if this was real or fantasy her beauty it seems
Not sure what to think when she moved suddenly
If asleep I hoped not to wake, I do detest wet dreams

Knowing I'd been summoned to this place and this time
I stepped forward and watched his face,  anticipation lights
He's thinking that he's dreaming, a dream that's so sublime
This will certainly have to be his night of greatest nights

Curiosity pushed my hesitation aside, a step foward
Thankful my body didn't react the way of wet dreams
I reached out to her, she did also move on her own accord
My heart beating faster, her beauty glowing like moonbeams

His hesitant step and reaching hand, endearing in sweetness
My hand in his, his hesitation vanished in an instant
I smiled, knowing his level of anticipation's intentness
My departure was some fact that was intentionally kept distant

The feel of her touch, courage and hope I had overflowing
The warmest of embraces I dropped all my heart's guards
The sweet intensity of experiencing an angel's love and caring
My mind filled with thoughts of this being heaven's rewards

He called me an  Angel as we loved through the long night
A night forever to be remembered, we made in heated embrace
Never realizing I had to be gone with the first hint of morning light
And of me he would never again find even a lingering trace
