The Limbs of the Lovers.
Beautiful,
still entangled
in defiance of time and decay.
Delicate,
still strangled
by thoughts of a hopeless day.

That a man can be torn apart by love
is something that most find strange.
It's a preoccupation of life,
of which i've had enough,
and nothing has changed.

I never forget the sleepless nights,
they never seemed to go away.
I regret that i had no fight left in me,
but what else could i do?
What more could i say?

What remains?
What helps you recover...
The limbs of the Lovers.
The limbs of the Lovers.

They should be together...
Two lovers embraced...
Deprived of the life that they could and should have had...
What remains?

That a man can be so afflicted by love
is something that most find hard to explain.
He dedicated his life and soul to her
and nothing has changed...
In all this time nothing has changed.

I never forget the restless days,
they stay on my mind,
and the hurt never seems to go away
for the pain of love lost lasts a lifetime.

What more could i do or say?
What of the regret?
What's left?

They should be together...
Two lovers embraced in death...
Deprived of the life that they could and should have had.

I never forget the sleepless nights,
that never seemed to go away.
I regret that i had no fight left,
but what else could i do?
What more could i say?
What remains?

Still when the world looks dangerous in many ways,
and all is not as simple as it seems,
love transforms,
love redeems...
Love makes life worth living...
Without it, where would we be?
