Never Enough Time

Death laid me bare today
With a tap on the shoulder
to let me know it was there

Whispered your name to me
as if
I could some how change itís mind

A gift of an omen
and a curse of hands
that are bound

    by human insufficiency
    by taunting hope

What shall I do for you dear
besides love you
beyond your days?

I wonder at your beauty
as the breath of life
still sighs itís lovely breeze

A quandary

Shall I wake you
Or let you sleep?

Dear Angelique-
Life and death are the single facts we arrive with here on this planet-
They are the only certainties we know are destened to be-
All else in-between is the portrait of existence that we paint-
I really liked this one!
Best Wishes to You and Yours~
