After The Battle -- Dorsimbra
Hold still my wounded heart for love's caress,
The long struggle has ended at long last...
No more vile foes or knaves I need suppress;
The victory is mine, I stand steadfast.

Broken sword
and shattered shield,
I continued on without
The battle won by me your champion

Within your loving embrace, my heart does seeks
Despite treasures offered, I need your love.
No greater joy than to feel your embrace;
Hold still my wounded heart for love's caress.
Author's Notes:
When it comes to trying styles new to me, this style/form was quite difficult for me because I was uncomfortable with writing sonnets.  Try as I may it was the one stumbling block that kept me from writing a Dorsimbra.  Not really sure if this is true to form, but it's my attempt and I hope it's okay.

Dorsimbra - a poetry form of three stanzas of four lines each.
Stanza One: 4 lines of Shakespearean sonnet (iambic pentameter abab rhyme).
Stanza Two: 4 lines of short and snappy free verse.
Stanza Three: 4 lines of iambic pentameter blank verse, last line repeats first line Stanza One.

Thanks to The Bag Lady for posting a wonderful poem in this style/form and inspiring me to try this form myself.
