~Hearts Day Hangover~
This morning, I can see the back of my eyelids.
Too much chocolate or treadmill; I'm not sure which it is.
The chocolates were the reason I worked more on the other,
but eating chocolate was a must when it came from another.
This Hearts Day hangover is making me sleepy,
but I suppose that's an improvement on me being weepy.
If you give me a pillow I'd curl up on my desk,
but by lunch I'd be fired and never get my rest.
Instead I'll take a walk, and get the fuzz out of my head,
for I have work to do, and messages to be read.
But I really can't wait for this day to be over, so
I can go home and plan for tomorrow's hangover.
