The Bond of Friendship
"To forgive a friend for making a mistake is easy, to forget it takes so much more than most are willing to give... I'm glad to say I have that despite what my past has engraved on my soul.  Life is meant for so much more than holding onto the hate..."
Author's Notes:

Years ago this wouldn't have been possible, but since being here at CP I've learned anything is possible thanks to my friends.

It takes a lot of courage to forgive and let go. Holding onto anger only serves to make someone pay for what they did unfortunately the only one who pays is the one who won't forgive. I'm glad to have you as a friend Joe. Friends are something you can never have too much of.

God bless ya, Joe. You are one of the good guys. This really ties into the day's event in my house. My 15 year old skipped school Tuesday and lied to me about it. Turns out his girlfriend's best frind wanted to visit her visiting meth-head ex stepdad and asked Sean's girlfriend to go along to make sure she wasn't tempted to do meth with her stepdad. Sean was so worried about his girlfriend in such an environment that he went with her He didn't think old dad would understand, so he lied about skipping. We just had a heart to heart about trust and communication...yer pal, len

It is amazing what the gift and bond of true friendship can do...and how many things it can change. I'm proud to call you my friend and I'm glad that we're all a part of something as wonderful as this site.

hugs and big grins!

Glata
