The sun never shines on this town.
The gruesome women will be wearing some form of disturbing fashion,
and the ghastly men will wear some kind of frown...
Obvious, but oblivious,
they hang around...
Unique and uniquely ridiculous at the same time.
The sun never shines.
The sun never shines.
I can take your mind off outside
and the pack-like mentality cursing darkened streets.
See them and therefore hide
for the voice of reason or disbelief
will only wake the beast
when all you need is relief.
Reason or disbelief won't gather quiet time...
The sun never shines.
The sun never shines.
Hindsight is cruel
as are plain old white lies,
and as inflated egos discuss lily-livered lives
i look to the heavens with a sigh...
I'm mystified by the terror of the mortified.
I see these so-called men for miles...
seemingly flawless, though certainly lawless,
and often romanticised,
but only in their own minds.
I see these poor excuses for women...
only known for crude language,
they spew out expletives almost as fast as they can illegitimate children...
I question enjoyment...
I question a town high in social security density
and low in employment...
and i'm stared at gormlessly.
They have no idea of the madness that grips this town...
People are afraid to go out alone.
Their sole purpose is to follow in the footsteps of their Mothers...
The Fathers are not usually known...
It's nothing short of a disgrace...
Thugs are a dead giveaway,
and drugs conquer council estates.
There's a place where the wide-eyed and half witted stare into smokey space,
and there seems no escape.
Some kind of hero
could become some kind of zero...
fading R.I.P graffiti on a wall someday.
The sun never shines on this town...
I won't waste my time hanging around.
