No Door

No Door

My silhouette

Is trapped inside

This oubliette

Left there to forget

A dancer without

A pirouette.

A voice

In silent reflection

The choice

Was not my intention

But the mention of your name.

Would make me rejoice

In the silence

Of my emptiness.

Lovely fresh presentation here John!! You have made very good use of the words you have chosen...though few they are very effectively placed. Congratualtions on the FP award.

Oh John, how did I miss this one? Simple, yet so powerful. It really touched my soul.

Congrats on the award.

Dear John-
Sometimes we become trapped by the illusion we have built
as our personality offered to the world-
But who we truly are within then struggles to be freed-
Soon we begin a confliction of finding a place somewhere in the middle-
This explains why perscription "Happy" pills are now an industry and
billion dollar market-
Once again you have showed the strength of your descriptive style!
Best Wishes to You and Yours~
