Unseen Rain -- Calender
Not a cloud in the sky
but it's still raining...
Ongoing rain the weather man does deny
but it's still raining...
People pass me by carefree and dry
but it's still raining...
The sun's so bright in the sky
but it's still raining...
A rain's chill felt by only one,
a rain's roar heard only by one,
a rain's wetness felt only by one...
The drops that fall from the journey not taken by me
Falling drops are the tears that fall within so harshly
They soak my soul with rivers of restless misery
That day she lay before me openly
on bed and left herself so open to see
wanting for my caress so lovingly
desiring the feel of me so caringly
My heart wanted to take that journey
My mind wouldn't let it be sadly
Time passed on but I haven't forgetton hardly
To let that chance of love get away from me
must I live on being lonely
Or drown with this sorrow finally...
Author's Notes:

A sacrifice made for love...

You know Joe at this point you have nothing to lose. Go tell her how you feel if she walks away then you know and have lost nothing if she responds positively then you've gained a second chance. What is never said is usualy what hurts the most.

If she only knew the sacrifice that was made for her your story would have a completely different ending.

Why the secrecy?  If you both loved each other....what could have kept you apart?

This is excellent, and maybe not to late, but first we have to ask ourselves why

we didn't take the chance in the first place.
