Hummingbirds

Darting here and there,

Hummingbirds flitting around,

Pausing just to drink.

While watching the hummingbirds darting between our two flowering trees.

I LOVE hummingbirds..I was in the woods one time and had a hummingbird hover for a long time just a few feet from my face..I might have been the first human he ever saw...500 wingbeats a second is pretty darned impressive...:O)...len

I LOVE humming birds! If I can ever figure out how to keep the blasted yellow jackets from taking over the feeders, I'm going to put nectar out for them again this year. Between the BIG black ants and the yellow jackets, though, the humming birds got very little of the nectar last year. Any suggestions to help?

Fantastic Haiku!

Glata

Being a bird lover myself I can appreciate this, we have at least ten different species visit our garden on a regular basis and it can be very entertaining.
