The Winds of Change
The winds of change are blowing, my love.  It's a never ending process.
At times the winds are mild and constant.
Calm winds can be soothing, or flat and unproductive.
Strong winds can be either exhilarating, or scary as hell.
Sometimes winds of change can blow with a gale force enough to change your life so drastically that when the gale subsides, you hardly recognize yourself.
You can allow the winds of change to blow in your life at random or you can use the winds as a source for much personal growth and direction.
Knowing whether the current winds are in your favor depends on your approach and perception of the pleasant or unpleasant situations that are necessary for the movement of change to take place.
Actively take part in the 'sailing of your life's ship'.
Whether you choose, right or wrong, to navigate, do it until you can do it with ease.
Right or wrong is not the issue.
There is no lesson lost on either choice.
The positive is that you made a choice at all.
Choice is best not left to chance.
Pilot your own craft.
Participate in life and revel in the possibilities!
Be always aware of the winds of change in your life.
Author's Notes:
I was going through some major life changes when I wrote this.  It was my way of making sense of what was happening at the time.  It helped me to realize that I really did have control of my own destiny if I decided to actively take part in the sailing of my own life's ship.  Thanks for reading this far.

Using wind as a metaphor is an excellent choice.  It is something we can understand but more importantly, relate to.
