Carnival Glass

Carnival Glass

Blowing soap bubbles in the sunshine,
Swirling and floating on the breeze,
Small carnival glass colored globes.

The wind picks up in the afternoon,
Creating tiny little tornadoes,
Blowing soap bubbles in the sunshine.

My dog chases the fleeting swarm,
They ‘pop’ in mid air before he bites,
Swirling and floating on the breeze.

Sparkling like jewels on a chain,
For a few seconds they fly free,
Small carnival glass colored globes.
Author's Notes:
While blowing soap bubbles in the afternoon sun with my dog, Jessie.
Written in the Cascade form.  Created by Udit Bhatia.

Lovely images, Patty! I don't think we really ever outgrow our fascination with the colour and beauty of a soap bubble...I used to use the kids as an excuse to buy bubbles, lol, now I just buy them for ME! My cat goes nuts when we blow bubbles in the house...he hates anything  that is out of the "norm" for him...and bubbles in the air are certainly abnormal to him!

i loved the form and the write...Makes me want the morning to come so I can go blow bubbles now...

Hugs!

Glata

I truly enjoyed this.  I love blowing soap bubbles and you have so beautifully captured the colour, fun and freshness -- and I am laughing at your dog enjoying this pasttime.  My dogs chase bees..............
