Love Duet-Diatelle

Love Duet

A love song
With me, Honey
Living out our lifelong
Duet, singing in harmony,
Dancing in rhythm, only you and me
When you asked me to marry, you gave me your ring
And I was very happy to agree
To spend all of my life with thee
We are beyond the throng,
Iím your Queen Bee,
 I belong,
My strong
Author's Notes:
The Diatelle form was created by Bradley Vrooman.  It is a syllable counting form like the etheree with a twist.  The structure count: 1/2/3/4/6/8/10/12/10/8/6/4/3/2/1, but has a rhyme pattern of abbcbccaccbcbba.  It may be written on any subject matter and looks best center aligned in a diamond shape.
It looked challenging and I wanted to try it.

You did a wonderful job on this one. I've seen a few unusual ones, shaped in some pretty neat ways. I like the diamond.
