Stargazer
Stargazer

I once wished on a shooting star
And the next thing I knew
You caught my eye and here we are
Living alone, we two.
The Morning Star wakes us each day,
In a beautiful stellar way.
The Morning Star,
The Morning Star,
Itís Venus, shining bright and gay.

As the constellations revolve
Around you in the night,
Your one glance makes my heart dissolve
Into pools of delight.
The Evening Star serenades
Us from above as daylight fades.
The Evening Star,
The Evening Star,
Itís light traveling for decades.

My universe is in your eyes.
The stars cannot compare
To the heaven I find in your sighs
And the love that we share.
Iím stargazing when Iím with you,
I love everything that you do.
Iím stargazing,
Iím stargazing,
And you know what I say is true.
