Ambivalent Allusions
One thousand fantasies flutter by
Linguistic dreams of a butterfly
For although we share the same passionate heart
We're locked in two worlds, a light year apart
I with my love and you with benign
Not part of the great scholastic design
But I long for your impetuous soul
To entangle with mine, to refill the hole
Yet we'll soon be parted, forever be lost
A broken heart shattered amongst the falling frost

Only a true heart can write with the beauty its heart contains.

I found this in someone's favorites and so glad I did. It is a beautiful expression of hopeless love. So worthy of the award. It goes into my favorites as well.
