Direction.
I don't know what i'm missing
and i don't know who to listen to.
I don't know what i'm giving
and i don't know how much i really know you...
But i know
some people that you respect
don't deserve your respect
and some people that you neglect
don't deserve that rejection...
You'd better find your way in life
before you lose your direction.

You'll have better days,
there's nothing much that you've got to prove...
Still, there's nothing much you've got left to lose...
You just do what you do
and what you think is best for you...
And you lie to distinguish yourself to those that criticise,
and you say, 'That's Life!'
But i say that's how you'll be remembered when you die...
Still, nothing is as it should be...Really,
and that's no observation...That's reality.

There's so much on your mind...
There's too much lost time...
Another moment has passed by...
And i don't know what i'm missing,
and i don't know who to listen to...
But at least i know what's real to me...
I know the truth.

some people that you respect
don't deserve your respect
and some people that you neglect
don't deserve that rejection...
You'd better find your way in life
before you lose your direction.

Sometimes that can be the hardest thing to find is a source of direction and many will take a wrong turning on the way its more a case of not losing sight of the path thats the answer, well written and I like your rhyming style of writing.
