Your Paladin.
Sitting in the arbour, reflecting on the day
And how we came together
Was like no other way
So many happy days have passed
I remember love light in your eyes
All the love and comfort given
To protect me from the lies
Then when in the hospital
In the waiting room you cried
And when it was all over
Once more at my bedside
I love you with my heart and soul
Every breath, I breathe for you
Each single tear that you have shed
Becomes my sea of blue
You are my rose that blooms full grown
The heart that beats within
You are my Lady of the lake
And I your Paladin.

Very romantic Graham. The Paladins were the holy warriors of the crusades and the warriors of Arthur's tales. I love their tales and stories, Joe

Quite a romantic tragedy, Graham! Let the Paladin live evermore for his fair lady!

As always, your writing is captivating, and beautiful!
