Outside the Lines~3

~Outside the Lines~

Each and every day it seems we are told

How this world is not completely out of control

But take a look in the mirror and be sincere

Seems it is in every corner of the hemisphere

I've seen some look away so damn smugly

Ignoring scenes that are so sad and ugly

But know that they exist or nothing is real

Even the emotions you think we each feel

Between each breath of anger that we sustain

The sands of time pass through grain by grain

As we allowed passed on belief to disintegrate

Calculations of its rejuvenation now initiate

So free your mind from all optical visions

Release your thoughts with skilled precisions

We explore all of our deep mental gold mines

Whenever you think and walk outside the lines

Author's Notes:

~Outside the Lines~
Some stay within the borders society has drawn

Some are more in tune with this planet we're on

Some see no more than what's on the television
So picking a channel is their hardest decision
Now here is the question I'd like to ask you
How many think that they may have a clue
Because the stories been told time and time again
Yet the endings the beginning of what's about to begin

I'm usually one of those that only sees what I'm told I can see...but I try to  break that habit as often as possible. If everyone could see beyond the "boundaries" set for them they'd see so much more...and so much more would be done to help pull things back under control.

Yes, agreeing with Robin, this is great!

Hugs to ya, James!

Your sis in NC...
