Moon's Glow

Moon’s Glow

Luminous pastel reflection,
Moonshine falls softly on the lake;
She catches the last light of day,
Presenting her famous portrait
Brilliantly with grace
After the sun has set
And beams on lovers everywhere;
Ah, love!
Author's Notes:
This syle is called Octal Progression invented by Elizabeth Barrette.  Eight lines, each of which begin with a specific part of speech.  The lines do not require (or forbid) rhyme or meter.  The form may vary, but the original is one stanza in this order:
