King of Mice

If I were a little mouse

I’d find myself a little house

A garden with a perfect view

A rainbow in the sky for you.

If I were a lucky mouse

I’d find myself a little spouse

We would watch our children play

In our home of far away.

Now I am a happy mouse

Got my house and got my spouse

Have my children all around

I guess I am a mouse with nous!

Author's Notes:

I found a bag of old poems. This must be at least 15 years old. I wrote it for my children. What is interesting is the relevance to my own life at the time. It is just a bit of fun though.

	Sweet John. I have tons of writings never exposed, and I suppose one day after my demise, the kids will find it, read it and wonder about me..I think it's important to share our inner selves with our kids and this was a fabulous way to do it. I am sure they enjoyed it. b Respond To This Comment
