Wild Kitty
ďHere, kitty, kitty, kitty.Ē
I wonder why they are calling.
Is it possible they mean me?
Eh, whatever, Iím not falling.
I only obey the call of the wild,
Surprised they canít see the real me,
But they treat me like such a child.
ďHere, kitty, kitty, kitty.Ē
Sometimes, I humor them for fun.
They are always out here bawling,
So, I come to them on the run,
I wonder why they are calling.
A nice stretch after a long nap,
It really seems to make them happy,
For me to lie upon their lap.
Is it possible they mean me?
Perhaps, if they offer real meat
For lunch, Iíll come at their calling,
But I will not beg at their feet.
Eh, whatever, Iím not falling.

I think you got into the mind of a cat perfectly...:O) A cat is not a domestic animal at all. You have to raise them from birth in order for them to even tolerate humans, much less, feel affection for them. Dogs, on the other hand, are very human-like, as they understand concepts like guilt, which is completely alien to a cat...Nice job on this...len
