"God's Accidental Miracle" or "Who turned on the lights?" -- Fiction
Once the breathe of life was put into earth's air
A symbol of hope was actually an accident
Some of the paint spilled from God's pallet
It stained the skies in earth's northern regions

Upset at first he thought his Eden it did spoil
However it was looked upon with curious awe
All of his creatures who saw the view were amazed
Something that could only have been heaven sent

Through the ages many look to them for inspiration
Many looked to them as a sign of God's glory
Many see them as an ancient miracle and marvel
Its quiet beauty so well known by so many

Scientists can theorize and critique the phenomenom
However they may speculate, one thing is true
Sometimes the most beautiful and wondrous things
can be created from a simple accident
Author's Notes:
Northern Lights, a miracle of God or a really big nightlight?

I experience and appreciate their beauty often. I love the notion that they came to be from paint spilling from God's pallet. =))

Congratulations!

Wonderful yarn, buddy.,, The reason for the northern lights may not be a mystery anymore, but that doesn't stop the beautiful display from looking mysterious....len
